Most homes in the Parish have access to Superfast Broadband

Our Parish Hall is near the middle of the Village.

The Hall is over 100 years old.

It is managed by our Village Hall Management Committee - a Registered Charity No. 1023136

The Committee is made up of local volunteers.

It is a big hall, big enough for up to 40 in Exercise Classes, for example. It has a stage at one end - indeed it is “home” to our Ruyton Amateur Theatrical Society (RATS), who perform a Panto every year.

It is also “home” to several other groups - the 1st Ruyton XI Towns Rainbows meet regularly, a Circuits Class meets every Friday and there are various other Dance and Exercise Classes.

It is ideal for Private Parties and hosts several Children’s Parties in a typical year.

The Village Hall Committee run the Home Grown Show each year (a typical Programme can be seen here) We also run two Quizzes each year, as well as a variety of other events.

To help raise money to maintain the hall we also run a “Century Club” - a lottery with 3 winners each month.

And we organise a “Santa Run” each year just before Christmas - very popular with local children.
